Our Solid White Silicone Bung is the industry standard for airtight barrel aging. Engineered with an extra-thick grab ring, it is designed to withstand the physical demands of being hammered in and pried out of tight bungholes. While our ventilating bungs are for active fermentation, this Solid Bung provides a 100% hermetic seal to prevent oxidation and evaporation (Angel's Share) during the long-term maturation of fine wines and spirits.

Universal Fit: Precision-tapered to fit standard 2-inch bungholes (approx. 48mm–52mm openings).

High-Durability Grab Ring: Reinforced silicone pull-tab allows for easy removal without the use of metal tools that can damage the oak stave.

Pure Food-Grade Silicone: Rated for 60/53-gallon (225/200 L) barrels; won't leach flavors, absorb tannins, or harbor bacteria.

Sanitization: Withstands high-temperature steam and standard cellar chemicals (SO2, citric acid) without degrading or losing its seal.
